Project Overview

AIG partnered with WILL Interactive to implement a customized version of Common Ground Business—a harassment and abusive conduct prevention training program, tailored to meet the company’s global standards, compliance needs, and high-performance culture. With employees in over 70 countries, AIG required scalable, multilingual, and policy-aligned content that could be delivered seamlessly through their LMS. WILL worked closely with AIG’s Office of the Chief Counsel to customize scenarios, integrate corporate branding, and ensure content met regulatory requirements while remaining engaging and impactful. The partnership continues to evolve, with new global professional conduct courseware in development to support AIG’s workforce worldwide.

With $539B in total assets, ~190 countries served, and ranked 60th on the Fortune 500 list, it has built a high-performance culture through teamwork, diversity, and principled leadership. 

AIG sought the best professional conduct training available on earth that could be easily customized to AIG’s culture, language, and policies. The training not only needed to be easy to field and meet compliance requirements across U.S. states, it had to be engaging and proven effective.

Comprehensive Compliance Customized

Initially, WILL’s Common Ground Business 1 met AIG’s compliance requirements in all states while providing engaging and “sticky” learning, but AIG needed more than off-the-shelf. With a sprawling workforce in 70 countries and distinct company mindset, WILL Interactive worked with AIG’s office of the Chief Counsel to customize texts and scenario edits to suit AIG’s unique policies, language, and culture. 

When it was time to create Common Ground Business 2, AIG consulted on scenario content and WILL again offered a customized version tailored to their culture. 

WILL ensures that state-specific content is delivered to the appropriate audiences while also embedding AIG policies and procedures into courses that align with AIG’s branding, language, and professional standards. WILL’s ultra-accessible support team is always ready to collaborate and immediately implement necessary changes and AIG admins can also use course customization tools to edit course content themselves.

Global Needs, Global Solutions

To reach tens of thousands of team members on six continents, AIG needs the scalability and ease-of-use that comes with online learning. WILL’s solutions integrate seamlessly with AIG’s  LMS, enabling their administrators to control how they monitor usage, confirm completion, and generate reports. 

In addition to Common Ground Business 2 to satisfy requirements in all U.S. states and Canada, WILL Interactive has customized harassment and abusive conduct prevention courses for AIG in multiple languages and global configurations. A generic global version and a Latin America configuration have been fielded. 

 

Continuing the Partnership

AIG and WILL are continuing to create positive workforce cultures across the globe with the development of a new professional conduct courseware. 

Conducting focus groups and other research with employees representing six continents, course development is underway for a global professional conduct course. 

The future course will be available in up to 15 languages and easily customized to anywhere on earth by local admins using WILL’s customization tools. Every office, anywhere on earth, can create a tailored learning experience suited to its unique needs.
